In the different regions of the plant body parenchyma cells are involved in different functions. Prosenchyma is a type of parenchyma where cells are elongated with tapering ends. Prosenchyma cells are starch-containing parenchymal cells whose cell walls have become lined with lignin, as occurs in the stems of Bougainvillea (Nyctaginaceae). A specialized type of parenchyma cell, called a transfer cell, is involved in the short-distance movement of solutes by cell-to-cell transfer. Transfer cells occur in association with veins in leaves and stems and also in many reproductive parts.

Prosenchyma forms -a)Root-pericycleb)Stem-pericyclec)Root-endodermisd)...
Explanation:

Prosenchyma is a type of simple tissue that is found in plants. It is made up of elongated, spindle-shaped cells that have thick walls with lignified corners. These cells are specialized for providing mechanical support to the plant.

Prosenchyma forms Root-pericycle:

The pericycle is a layer of cells that surrounds the vascular tissue in roots. It is responsible for generating lateral roots and acts as a storage site for nutrients and water. Prosenchyma cells are found in the pericycle layer of roots, where they provide mechanical support and help to maintain the shape of the root.

Other options:

Stem-pericycle: Prosenchyma cells are not found in the pericycle layer of stems. Instead, stem pericycle contains other types of cells like parenchyma, collenchyma, and sclerenchyma.

Root-endodermis: Endodermis is a layer of cells that surrounds the vascular tissue in roots. It is responsible for regulating the movement of water and nutrients into the plant. Prosenchyma cells are not found in the endodermis layer.

Stem-hypodermis: The hypodermis is a layer of cells that is located below the epidermis in stems. It is responsible for providing mechanical support and protecting the plant from external damage. Prosenchyma cells are not found in the hypodermis layer of stems.
