Introduction
A galvanometer is an instrument for detecting small electric currents and measuring their strength. It works on the principle of electromagnetic induction and is used in various electrical and electronic systems. The sensitivity of a galvanometer is a measure of its ability to detect small changes in current. Increasing the current sensitivity may not necessarily increase voltage sensitivity.

Current Sensitivity vs. Voltage Sensitivity
Current sensitivity is the ability of a galvanometer to detect small changes in current. Voltage sensitivity, on the other hand, is the ability of a galvanometer to detect small changes in voltage. These two measures of sensitivity are related but not equivalent. Increasing the current sensitivity of a galvanometer may not necessarily increase its voltage sensitivity.

Reasons for this
There are several reasons why increasing the current sensitivity of a galvanometer may not increase its voltage sensitivity.

1. Galvanometer Design
The design of a galvanometer affects its sensitivity. Some galvanometers are designed to be more sensitive to current than to voltage, while others are designed to be more sensitive to voltage than to current.

2. Input Signal
The input signal to a galvanometer can also affect its sensitivity. A galvanometer that is sensitive to current may not be as sensitive to voltage if the input signal is primarily a voltage signal.

3. Internal Resistance
The internal resistance of a galvanometer can also affect its sensitivity. A galvanometer with a high internal resistance may be more sensitive to voltage than to current, while a galvanometer with a low internal resistance may be more sensitive to current than to voltage.

Conclusion
In conclusion, increasing the current sensitivity of a galvanometer may not necessarily increase its voltage sensitivity. The design of the galvanometer, the input signal, and the internal resistance all play a role in determining the sensitivity of the instrument. It is important to consider these factors when selecting a galvanometer for a particular application.

Current sensitivity does not depend upon resistance(R), whereas voltage sensitivity does, as evident from their expressions. Current sensitivity can be increased by increasing the number of turns of the coil. However, this increases the resistance of the coil also(R is proportional to length of conductor). Since voltage sensitivity decreases with increase in resistance of the coil, the effect of increase in number of turns is nullified in the case of voltage sensitivity. Hence, there is no increase in voltage sensitivity.
