2. Metaphase I:
The tetrads align along the cell's equator. Spindle fibers from opposite poles of the cell attach to each chromosome, preparing for separation.

3. Anaphase I:
The homologous chromosomes separate and move toward opposite poles of the cell, pulled by the spindle fibers. This ensures that each daughter cell receives one complete set of chromosomes.

4. Telophase I:
The chromosomes reach the poles of the cell, and the nuclear envelope reforms around each set of chromosomes. Cytokinesis then occurs, dividing the cell into two daughter cells.

Meiosis II:
Meiosis II is similar to mitosis, as it involves the separation of sister chromatids and results in the formation of four haploid daughter cells.

1. Prophase II:
The nuclear envelope dissolves, and the chromosomes condense. The spindle apparatus forms again.

2. Metaphase II:
The chromosomes align along the equator of each cell, with spindle fibers attaching to the centromeres.

3. Anaphase II:
The sister chromatids separate and move toward opposite poles of the cell.

4. Telophase II:
The chromosomes reach the poles of the cell, and the nuclear envelope reforms around each set of chromosomes. Cytokinesis occurs, resulting in the formation of four haploid daughter cells.
