A raindrop is not a free-falling body. There are two types of forces acting on the raindrop, one is the gravitational force and the other is air resistance (Increases with an increase in velocity). As the raindrop falls, it's velocity increases and air resistance also increases. At one point, both cancel out each other. The velocity after this is said to be terminal velocity. It travels with uniform velocity after this.
