Electophile are positively charged species/ electron deficient species that are electron seeking / attracting therefore attack electron rich sites .
behave as Lewis acid
eg:- H+ , SO3H+ , BF3, SO3, etc.
Nucleophiles are electron rich , mostly negatively charged / having lone pairs therefore attack electron deficient sites. act as Lewis base.
eg:- H-, Cl-, H2O, R-O-R, etc.
