Verified Answer
The following questions are accompanied by two statements (I) and (II)...
Total age of A, B & C = 32 × 3 = 96 years
From I -
Let age of A & C be 11x and 12x respectively
And age of B = (12x - 9)
11x + ((12x – 9) + 12x = 96
35x = 105
x = 3 years
Age of A three year hence = 11 × 3 + 3 = 36 years
From II -
Ratio of age of A, B & C = 11 : 9 : 12
Let age of A, B & C is 11a , 9a & 12a respectively
11a + 9a + 12a = 96
a = 3 years
Age of A three year hence = 11 × 3 + 3 = 36 years
So, Either I or II alone sufficient to give answer of the question.

The following questions are accompanied by two statements (I) and (II)...

Explanation:

Statement (I):
- According to statement (I), the ratio between the age of A and C is 11:12, while the age of B is 9 years less than C.
- This information alone does not provide the exact ages of A, B, and C, so it is not sufficient to determine the age of A after three years.

Statement (II):
- According to statement (II), the ratio between the age of A and B is 11:9, and the ratio between B and C is 9:12.
- This information also does not give the exact ages of A, B, and C, so it is not sufficient to determine the age of A after three years.

Combined Statements (I) and (II):
- When we combine both statements, we can establish a relationship between the ages of A, B, and C.
- By using both ratios provided, we can solve for the ages of A, B, and C and determine the age of A after three years.
- Therefore, both statements together are necessary to answer the question.

Conclusion:
- Option 'd' is the correct choice as either statement (I) or statement (II) alone is not sufficient to answer the question, but when combined, they provide enough information to determine the age of A after three years.
