The free body diagram is given in figure

N - mgcosθ 
⇒ N = mgcosθ
mgsinθ - f = 0
mgsinθ = f
θ is maximum if f is maximum

mgsinθ = fmax = μmgcosθ
tanθ = μ = 0.05 
0 ≈ 0.05 rad
So, distance travelled before he slips 
x = Rθ = 50 * 0.05 = 2.5 m
