Given,There are 12 persons: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K and L. They are standing in a straight line from left to right end. Half of them are facing north and half of them are facing south direction. Extreme left end is numbered 1 and extreme right end is numbered 12.
A, B, F, E, K and L are standing even numbered positions but not necessarily in the same order.
1) H, who is facing north, has only one person behind him, who is facing south.
2) B has only one person standing ahead of him.
3) B and the person standing ahead of him are facing opposite direction.
So 1st position’s person is facing north.

4) The number of persons standing ahead of L is the same as the number of persons standing behind of G.
5) L is standing ahead of G and both face the same direction.
So L can be stand at 4th or 6th position.
Case I: When L is at 4th position and G at 9th position.

Case II: When L is at 6th position and G at 7th position.
5) I is standing ahead of L.
6) F is just behind J and I is just ahead of A.
7) I and J are facing north and F and A are facing south.
Since I is standing ahead of L and just ahead of A, thus case I gets eliminated.
Case II:

8) C is not facing south, but immediate neighbours of C are facing south.
L and G are facing same direction. Since, C is also facing north L and G cannot face north.
9) K and D are facing north.
Since K is facing north and is at even position, he must be at 8th position.
D is at 1st position and E on 12th position.

Thus, G is standing in the middle of C and J.
