If α and β are the two zeros of the polynomial 25x2– ...
25x2 – 15x + 2
⇒ 25x2 – 10x – 5x + 2
⇒ 5x(5x – 2) – 1(5x – 2)
⇒ (5x – 1)(5x – 2)
⇒ x = 1/5 and 2/5
⇒ α and β will be equal to 1/5 and 2/5.
If zeros are (2α)-1 and (2β)-1
Then the zeros of that polynomial are 5/2 and 5/4
∴ Polynomial = (x – 5/2)(x – 5/4) = (x2 – 15x/4 + 25/8) = (8x2 – 30x + 25)
