And thermal boundary layer thickness related?

For a fluid with a Prandtl number equal to unity, the hydrodynamic boundary layer thickness and thermal boundary layer thickness are equal. This means that the thickness of the layer of fluid near a solid surface where the flow is influenced by viscous effects (hydrodynamic boundary layer) is the same as the thickness of the layer of fluid where the heat transfer is influenced by thermal effects (thermal boundary layer). The Prandtl number (Pr) is the ratio of momentum diffusivity to thermal diffusivity, and when it is equal to unity, it indicates that the fluid has similar rates of momentum and heat transfer. As a result, the boundary layer thicknesses for both hydrodynamics and thermal effects are equal.
