Osmosis is the process in which water flows from it's higher concentration region to it's lower concentration region through a semi permeable membrane. 
when almonds keep in water they bigger in size .
and Endosmosis process takes place in this condition.

• The process continues until the concentration of water molecules inside and outside the almonds becomes equal.
