Since the ball fits in the cylindrical pipe;
∴ Diameter of the cylindrical pipe = Diameter of the ball = 2 cm;
∴ Radius of the cylindrical pipe = 1 cm;
And given the length of the pipe = 14 m = 1400 cm;
∴ Surface area of the pipe = 2πrh = 2 × (22/7) × 1 × 1400 = 8800 square cm
