Recruitment is the process of searching for potential employees with required skills and qualifications and attracting and encouraging them to apply for jobs in the organisation.
Sources of recruitment may broadly classified into two categories :
I. Internal sources
II. External sources
Internal sources : means the source available with in the organisation .Internal source ,therefore consists of existing employees organisation.
External sources : means the sources available outside organisation
these sources include following :
i. Applications received in response to vacancy advertisements.
ii. Situation wanted advertisements
iii. Gate hiring
iv. Unsolicited applications
v. Employment exchanges
vi.Recruitment agencies
vii. Educational institutions
