(i) Olympic Motto:

The Olympic Motto is "Citius, Altius, Fortius" which means "Faster, Higher, Stronger". This motto was first introduced in 1924 and has been used ever since. The motto represents the pursuit of excellence, determination, and sportsmanship which are the core values of the Olympic Games.

(ii) Olympic Flag:

The Olympic Flag is a symbol of unity and represents the Olympic Movement. The flag is made up of five interlocking rings of different colors. The colors of the rings are blue, yellow, black, green, and red. These colors were chosen because at least one of them appears on every national flag in the world. The rings represent the five continents of the world and the unity of the athletes from all parts of the world.

(iii) Olympic Flame:

The Olympic Flame is a symbol of the Olympic Games and represents the continuity between the ancient and modern Olympics. The flame is lit at Olympia, Greece, and is carried by runners to the host city of the Olympic Games. The flame is then used to light the Olympic cauldron during the opening ceremony of the games. The flame is kept burning throughout the duration of the games and is extinguished during the closing ceremony.

(iv) Olympic Awards:

The Olympic Games award medals to the top three finishers in each event. The medals are made of gold, silver, and bronze. The gold medal is awarded to the first-place finisher, the silver medal to the second-place finisher, and the bronze medal to the third-place finisher. The medals represent the highest level of achievement in sports and are a symbol of excellence.

(v) Olympic Oath:

The Olympic Oath is recited by an athlete, coach, or official at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games. The oath represents the commitment of the athletes to compete fairly and to uphold the spirit of the Olympic Games. The oath states, "In the name of all the competitors, I promise that we shall take part in these Olympic Games, respecting and abiding by the rules that govern them, in the true spirit of sportsmanship, for the glory of sport and the honor of our teams."
