A body is executing simple harmonic motion with an angular frequency 2...
Given: Angular frequency, ω = 2 rad/s, Displacement, x = 20 mm, Amplitude, A = 60 mm

Finding: Velocity of the body at 20 mm displacement

Formula: Velocity of a body in simple harmonic motion = ω √(A² - x²)

Calculation:

- ω = 2 rad/s, A = 60 mm
- Using the formula, we get
Velocity of the body = ω √(A² - x²)
= 2 √(60² - 20²) [Substituting A and x values]
= 2 √(3600 - 400)
= 2 √(3200)
= 2 × 40 √2
= 80 √2 mm/s
- Therefore, the velocity of the body at 20 mm displacement is 113 mm/s (approx.)

Answer: Option (c) 113 mm/s.
