All the taps are opened together
CALCULATION:
Tap A can fill the tank in 120 minutes
Part of tank tap A can fill in 1 minute = 1/120
Tap B can fill the tank in 80 minutes
Part of tank tap B can fill in 1 minute = 1/80
Tap C can fill the tank in 96 minutes
Part of tank tap C can fill in 1 minute = 1/96
Part of tank A, B and C together can fill in 1 minute = (1/120) + (1/80) + (1/96)
Part of tank A, B and C together can fill in 1 minute = (1/8) (1/15) + (1/10) + (1/12)
Part of tank A, B and C together can fill in 1 minute = (1/8) (8 + 12 + 10)/120 = 30/960
Part of tank A, B and C together can fill in 1 minute = 1/32
∴ Pipe A, B and C together can fill the tank in 32 minutes.
