A shopkeeper mixes two different varieties of Mangoes costing Rs. 100,...
Given:

The cost of the first variety of mangoes = Rs. 100 per kg
The cost of the second variety of mangoes = Rs. 120 per kg
The ratio of the two varieties in terms of weight = 4:2

To Find:

The percentage of profit made by the shopkeeper

Solution:

Let's assume that the shopkeeper mixes 4 kg of the first variety of mangoes and 2 kg of the second variety of mangoes.

Cost Price:

The total cost price of the mangoes = (4 kg * Rs. 100/kg) + (2 kg * Rs. 120/kg)
= Rs. 400 + Rs. 240
= Rs. 640

Selling Price:

The selling price of the mixed mangoes = Rs. 115 per kg

Profit:

The profit made by the shopkeeper = Selling Price - Cost Price
= (6 kg * Rs. 115/kg) - Rs. 640
= Rs. 690 - Rs. 640
= Rs. 50

Percentage of Profit:

The percentage of profit = (Profit / Cost Price) * 100
= (50 / 640) * 100
= 7.81%

Therefore, the shopkeeper made a profit of 7.81%. Hence, the correct answer is option C.
