The perimeter of any regular figure is the total distance around the outside of the figure. It is the sum of all the sides of the figure.

Formula:
Perimeter of any regular figure = Sum of its all sides

Example:
Consider a square with sides of length 5 cm. To find the perimeter of this square, we add up the lengths of all four sides:
Perimeter = 5 cm + 5 cm + 5 cm + 5 cm
Perimeter = 20 cm
