1st case when it is 0 -- If a person travels a distance of 5m around a circle of 5metre then he will reach at the same place so final and starting position is same hence displacement is 0
2nd case when it is positive -- if a person goes 10 metre north then the displacement will simply and obviously be 10metre which is positive
3rd case when it is negative --if suppose ram wants to go south 10 metre but instead he goes 5 metre to north then the displacement will be -5metre which is negative
