Effect of Pressure on the State of a Substance:

When pressure is increased, the intermolecular forces between the particles of a substance increase. As a result, the space between the particles decreases. This results in the substance changing its state, for example, from a gas to a liquid. Conversely, when the pressure is decreased, the intermolecular forces between the particles of a substance decrease, and the space between the particles increases. This results in the substance changing its state from a liquid to a gas.

Effect of Temperature on the State of a Substance:

When the temperature of a substance is increased, the kinetic energy of its particles increases. This causes the particles to move faster and spread apart. As a result, the substance changes its state from a solid to a liquid and then to a gas. Conversely, when the temperature of a substance is decreased, the kinetic energy of its particles decreases. This causes the particles to move slower and become closer together. As a result, the substance changes its state from a gas to a liquid and then to a solid.

Pressure and temperate is related to state of matter . When we increase pressure and decrease temperate we can liquify gas ,which is a change in state of matter . Under pressure we can compress the particles of matter and hence change its state . And when there is increase or decrease in temperate there is state in change of matter in liquid . gas . and solid state respectively.
