Most Upvoted Answer
Pareshaan and mahesh are partners whose capitals are ₹25000 and ₹40000...
Calculation of new total capital
- Pareshaan's capital = ₹25000
- Mahesh's capital = ₹40000
- Suresh's capital = ₹15000
- Total capital before admission of Suresh = ₹65000
- Total capital after admission of Suresh = ₹80000 (₹65000 + ₹15000)

Calculation of profit loss ratio
- As per the partnership agreement, Pareshaan and Mahesh share profits and losses in the ratio of their capitals, which is 5:8 respectively.
- So, Pareshaan's share of profit/loss = (5/13) x total profit/loss
- Mahesh's share of profit/loss = (8/13) x total profit/loss

Example
- Let's assume that the total profit of the new firm is ₹50000.
- Pareshaan's share of profit/loss = (5/13) x ₹50000 = ₹19230.77
- Mahesh's share of profit/loss = (8/13) x ₹50000 = ₹30769.23

Final profit loss ratio
- Pareshaan's profit/loss ratio = ₹19230.77/₹50000 = 0.3846 or 38.46%
- Mahesh's profit/loss ratio = ₹30769.23/₹50000 = 0.6154 or 61.54%

Conclusion
- The profit loss ratio of the new firm is 38.46% for Pareshaan and 61.54% for Mahesh.
