Multiplication:

Steps to Multiply:

Steps to Divide:
- Write the dividend (number being divided) and the divisor (number dividing) one above the other.
- Divide the first digit of the dividend by the divisor. Write the quotient (answer) above the dividend with any remainder below the dividend.
- Bring down the next digit of the dividend and write it next to the remainder.
- Divide the two-digit number by the divisor and write the quotient above the dividend with any remainder below the dividend.
- Repeat until all digits have been divided or until the remainder is zero.
