When we talk about some basic concepts in Maths,when we look at those stories about the nomads and tribal groups rearing animals as they count by a method by regrouping stones and their fingers,they are just doing simple things to make their life easy and effective. And when we see at some of the modern mathematical languages today like the algebraic expressions, the theorems (devised by some observed men)we use,the units and the way we measure something,is just a matter of invention...I would say that the concept' is same which is a discovery but the languages or the way in which we study it is an invention.
