Find the true statement.a)Motional emf is inversely proportional to sp...
Explanation:

Motional EMF: When a conductor moves in a magnetic field, an emf is induced in the conductor. This emf is called motional emf.

Proportionalities of Motional EMF:

The motional emf is proportional to the following factors:

  • Magnetic Field: The motional emf is directly proportional to the magnetic field. If the magnetic field is doubled, the motional emf will also be doubled.

  • Speed of Conductor: The motional emf is directly proportional to the speed of the conductor. If the speed of the conductor is doubled, the motional emf will also be doubled.

  • Length of Conductor: The motional emf is not directly proportional to the length of the conductor. The length of the conductor does not affect the motional emf directly.

Therefore, the true statement is option 'C': Motional emf is directly proportional to the magnetic field.

Motional emf is directly proportional to the magnetic field across which the electric conductor moves. It is also directly proportional to the (velocity/speed) of the electric conductor as well as to the length of the conductor. All the other statements are not valid.
