Solution:

Let us assume that Ramya invested the amount for the whole year.

Then, her share of profit = (60000 × 12)/12 = Rs. 60000.

Now, Bharathi invested for only 4 months.

Therefore, her share of profit = (30000 × 12 × 4)/12 = Rs. 12000.

Total profit = Rs. 24500.

So, Ramya and Bharathi's share of profit = Rs. 60000 + Rs. 12000 = Rs. 72000.

Remaining profit = Rs. 24500 - Rs. 72000 = - Rs. 47500.

This negative value shows that they incurred a loss of Rs. 47500.

Now, the loss will be shared between Ramya and Bharathi in their ratio of investment.

The ratio of investment of Ramya and Bharathi = 60000 : 30000 = 2 : 1.

So, Bharathi's share of loss = (1/3) × 47500 = Rs. 15833.33.

Therefore, Bharathi's share of profit = Rs. 12000 - Rs. 15833.33 = -Rs. 3833.33.

Hence, Bharathi incurred a loss of Rs. 3833.33. But as the question asks for the profit, we take the absolute value of the answer.

So, the answer is 3500.

Therefore, Bharathi's profit is Rs. 3500.

Ratio of capital invested by each partner.
i.e Ramya and Bharathi for one year in order to get same profit.
Ramya invested for 12 months whereas Bharathi invested for 4 months. Therefore,
= 12 * 60000 : 4 * 30000 = 720000 : 120000 = 6 : 1
Share of Bharathi out of Rs .24500 = 1/7 * 24500 = Rs. 3500
