B in 9 days, and
C in 12 days.

Let's assume that the total work is equal to LCM(24,9,12) = 72 units (LCM is the least common multiple).

So, the efficiency of A, B, and C will be:
A's efficiency = 72/24 = 3 units/day
B's efficiency = 72/9 = 8 units/day
C's efficiency = 72/12 = 6 units/day

Now, let's calculate the work done by B and C in 3 days:
Total work done by B and C = (B's efficiency + C's efficiency) * 3 days
= (8 + 6) * 3
= 42 units

The remaining work will be:
Remaining work = Total work - Work done by B and C
