But we cannot calculate the number of days taken by A to complete the work.

From statement II,

A alone complete the work in 10 days. But we cannot calculate the number of days taken by C to complete the work.

A alone can complete the work in 10 days

C alone can complete the work in 15 days

= 1/10 + 1/15 = 6 days

From both statements we can get the number of days taken by A and C together to complete work.

Hence, the data given in both statements I and II together are necessary to answer the question
