Study the following data carefully and answer the given questions:The...
Let number of cash payments received in mall A = x
So, number of card payments received in mall A = (2 * 20) – x = (40 – x)
And number of UPI payments received in mall A = (x – 2)
Since, number of card payments received in mall A is 90% of number of UPI payments received in mall A.
So,
(40 – x) = (x – 2) * (90/100)
400 – 10x = 9x – 18
x = 22
Number of cash payments received in mall A = 22
Number of card payments received in mall A = 40 – 22 = 18
Number of UPI payments received in mall A = 22 – 2 = 20
Similarly, we can calculate for other malls as well:
Number of card payments received by mall C = 14
So, total amount received by mall C through card payments:
14 * 750 = Rs. 10500
Number of card payments received by mall D = 28
So, total amount received by mall D through card payments:
28 * 500 = Rs. 14000
Required ratio = 10500: 14000 = 3: 4
