Study the following information carefully and answer the given questi...
Quantity of basmati rice sold by Rahul = 0.60 × (6X – 30) = 3.6X – 18 kg
Quantity 0f samba rice sold by Rahul = 0.40 × (6X – 30) = 2.4X – 12 kg
According to question,
45 × (3.6X – 18) + 60 × (2.4X – 12) = 22950
162X – 810 + 144X – 720 = 22950
306X = 24480
X = 80
Therefore,
For Ajay,
Total quantity of rice sold by Ajay = 4x = 4 × 80 = 320Kg
Quantity of basmati rice sold = 75% of 320 = 240Kg
Quantity of samba rice sold = 320 – 240 = 80Kg
Total revenue generated = 240 × 40 + 80 × 65 = 14800 Rs.
Similarly,
According to question,
Number of basmati rice sold by Rahul = 270
Number of samba rice sold by Kumar = 90
Required ratio = 270:90 = 3:1
