The barchart given below shows the number of people applied for loan among three different loans provided by the bank – Home loan (HL), Personal loan (PL), and Business Loan (BL) in five different years. One person can apply for more than one loan.
Note: Number of people applied for loan = Number of people whose loan isapproved (at least one loan) + Number of people whose loan is rejected (all three loans).

In 2015,
Number of people whose all three loans approved = 20% x 200 = 40
So, number of people (exactlyone approved + exactlytwo approved) = 120 –40 = 80
Number of people whose only PL, only HL, and only BL approved is in theratio of 9:27:7 [9a, 27a, 7a].
Now,
9a + 27a + 7a + two loans approved = 80
Two loans approved = 80 – 43a
Possible value of a = 1,
So, number of people whose exactly two loans approved = number of people whose exactly one loan not approved = 80 – 43 = 37
Hence, answer is option A
