Direction: The question below is followed by three statements I, II, ...
Let the total work be 100 units
Statement I:
The efficiency of Amit and Anand = 100/20 = 5
Statement II:
The efficiency of Amit and Sahil = 100/25 = 4
Statement III:
Adding result of statements I and II
Anand + Sahil + 2 × Amit = 9
We know,
The efficiency of Amit and Anand is 2 : 3
3 + Sahil + 2 × 2 = 9
⇒ The efficiency of Sahil = 2
Efficiency of Anand and Sahil = 3 + 2 = 5
Number of days required = 100/5 = 20
The question can be answered using all statements together.
Hence, the correct option is (C).
