The fig. will be like this.

Firstly, we will find the area of ∆pqr

area of equi. trialngle= √3/4 x a x a

=√3/4 x 8 x 8

= 27.71 sq. cm

Now we will find the area of ∆PRS= 1/2 x b x h

=1/2 x 12 x 8

=48 sq. cm

Now add both the Areas= 48+27.71= 75.71 sq. cm
