First of all start with Arun Sharma books for building strong foundation. Solve all level 1 sums from Arun Sharma books. Then gradually go with free online material like bodheeprep site. Focus mainly on your calculations and reading. Read for atleast 1 hour daily and solve any logical game like Sudoku . This would build a solid foundation.

I had ordered four books related to MBA/CAT examination viz. quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal &non verbal reasoning ... the author is R.S. Agrawal so are they preferable for exam preps? Should I continue with them or should I prefer another books?

More than 60% consist of VARC and LRDI section which particular have no tricks and formulae and will be developed only by practice. There is no particular good  book available for these sections. I suggest RC99 for VARC and LRDI sets posted on iquanta facebook group. Apart from that develop a reading habbit from different sources like the guardian, aeon, newyorker, harvard business review.

If u r not clear with basics then install India bix app then go for another books or materials and also when u r done with ur basics then don't stick with any books join telegram groups, solve problems that are posted, give tests, In this process u will encounter with variety of questions....
