Condensation polymers are any kind of polymers formed through a condensation reaction, where molecules join together and losing small molecules as by products such as water, ammonia or methanol. Dacron is a polymer formed by terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol. Nylon-6,6 is formed by adipic acid and hexamethylenediamine. Bakelite is formed by phenol and formaldehyde. polyethene is formed from ethene. Hence, Dacron, Nylon-6,6 and Bakelite are examples of condensation polymerisation while Polyethene is not.
