A survey was conducted by the automotive society of India about the market share of various firms in the passenger car segment. There are a total of 5 market players namely - Maruti Suzuki, Volkswagen, Toyota, Honda and Hyundai in the country. Each firm manufactures all types of cars namely Hatchback, Sedan, SUV and Crossover.
The bar graph shows the percentage of various types of cars manufactured by each of the five firms.All the numbers are in a multiple of 5.  (Eg: 15% of the total cars manufactured by Honda are SUVs).

We are given that there are a total of 12000 Toyota sedans available in the Indian market. From the bar graph, we can see that Toyota's sedan share is 10%.
Hence, total number of Toyota cars available in the market = 12000/0.10 = 120000
From the pie chart, we can see that Toyota's market share in passenger car segment = (54/360) x 100 = 15%.
We know that there are a total of 120000 Toyota cars available in the market. 
Hence, the total number of cars available in market = (100/15) x 120000 = 800000
Now that we know the total number of cars in the Indian market, we can easily calculate the number of each type of car. 

From the table,we can see that the total number of Honda hatchback cars = 24000.
Also, the total number of Hyundai sedan cars = 40000.
Hence, the required difference is 40000 - 24000 = 16000.
Therefore, option A is the correct answer.
