Total pizzas sold by N = 90
The ratio of the total pizzas sold by P to the total pizzas sold by O is 9 : 8 and the ratio of the total pizzas sold by M, O and N is 10 : 8 : 9, respectively.
Therefore, total pizzas sold by M = 90 ÷ 9 × 10 = 100
Total pizzas sold by O = 90 ÷ 9 × 8 = 80
Total pizzas sold by P = 80 ÷ 8 × 9 = 90
The total large pizzas sold by M are (y) and the total small pizzas sold are (y – 20). The ratio of extra cheese and topping orders received by M is 2 : 3, respectively, and the total extra cheese and topping orders received by M are y – 10.
So, y + y – 20 = 100
2y = 120
y = 60
Total large pizzas sold by M = 60
Total small pizzas sold by M = 40
Total extra cheese and topping orders received by M = 50
Total extra cheese orders received by M = 50 ÷ 5 × 2
= 20
Total extra topping orders received by M = 50 – 20
= 30
The ratio of the total large and small pizzas sold by O is 3 : 5 and the total extra cheese and topping orders received are 40 and 10, respectively.
Total large pizzas sold by O = 80 ÷ 8 × 3 = 30
Total small pizzas sold by O = 80 – 30 = 50
Total worth of the orders received by O = (30 × 150) + (50 × 90) + (40 × 20) + (10 × 15) = Rs. 9950
The total worth of the orders received by N is Rs. 3100 more than the total worth of the orders received by O.
Total worth of the orders received by N = Rs. (9950 + 3100) = Rs. 13,050
The extra cheese orders received by N are 20 more than the extra topping orders received and the total large pizzas sold are 50 more than the total small pizzas sold.
Let the total large pizzas sold by N be x.
Total small pizzas sold by N = x – 50
ATQ, x + x – 50 = 90
2x = 140
x = 70
Let the total extra cheese and topping orders received by N be a and b, respectively.
a – b = 20
a = 20 + b ...(i)
ATQ, 70 × 150 + 20 × 90 + a × 20 + b × 15 = 13,050
10,500 + 1800 + 20a + 15b = 13,050
20a + 15b = 750
20(20 + b) + 15b = 750 ...(Using (i))
400 + 35b = 750
b = 10
a = 30
The total extra topping and cheese orders received by P are 30 and the extra cheese orders received by P are 50% of the extra cheese orders received by M. The total large pizzas sold by the four shops are 200.
Total extra cheese orders received by P = 20 × 0.5 = 10
Total extra toppings orders received by P = 30 – 10 = 20
Total pizzas sold by P = 90
Small pizzas sold by E = 20 + 20
= 40
Large pizzas sold by E = 60 – 20
= 40
Total worth of the orders received by E = (40 × 150) + (40 × 90) + (5 × 20) + (20 × 15)
= Rs. 10,000
Total worth of the orders received by M = (60 × 150) + (40 × 90) + (20 × 20) + (30 × 15)
= Rs. 13,450
Required percentage = (10,000/13,450) × 100= 74.34% = 74.3%
