Let number of men be n
Number of games between males = 2(nC2)
Number of games between players of opposite sex = 2(n x 2) = 4n
By the given condition 2.nC2 - 4n = 66
(∵ n = -6 is impossible)
Therefor number of participants = 11 + 2 = 13

Let's assume the number of participants in the tournament is 'n'.

- Number of games played by men with each other: We know that every participant played two games with the other participants. Since there are 'n' participants, the total number of games played by the men with each other would be (n/2) * 2 = n.

- Number of games played by men with women: Since there are 'n' participants and two of them are women, the number of games played by the men with women would be n - 2.

According to the given information, the number of games played by the men between themselves exceeds the number of games played by the men with the women by 66.

Therefore, we can write the equation as follows:
n = (n - 2) + 66

Simplifying the equation, we get:
n = n - 2 + 66
n = n + 64

This equation is not possible because it leads to a contradiction. It implies that 64 is equal to 0, which is not true.

Hence, there is no solution to the given equation.

Therefore, the correct answer is option 'D' (None of these).
