Direction: Read the following information carefully and answer the fol...

Calculation of Percentage

Given Data:
- Total number of students = 700
- Ratio of boys to girls in Cricket = 11:13
- Ratio of boys to girls in Hockey = 15:13
- Girls in Baseball = Boys in Baseball - 20
- Boys in Cricket = Boys in Hockey + 35
- Ratio of boys to girls in Basketball = 5:3
- Ratio of girls to boys in Baseball = 7:9
- Difference between boys and girls in Cricket = 20

Calculations:
1. Let's assume the number of boys in Cricket = 11x and number of girls in Cricket = 13x
2. Number of boys in Hockey = 15y and number of girls in Hockey = 13y
3. Number of boys in Baseball = 9z and number of girls in Baseball = 7z
4. Number of boys in Basketball = 5m and number of girls in Basketball = 3m

Calculating the total number of boys and girls in each sport:
1. Boys in Cricket + Girls in Cricket = 11x + 13x = 24x
2. Boys in Hockey + Girls in Hockey = 15y + 13y = 28y
3. Boys in Baseball + Girls in Baseball = 9z + 7z = 16z
4. Boys in Basketball + Girls in Basketball = 5m + 3m = 8m

Calculating the percentage of boys in Baseball and Cricket:
- Boys in Baseball + Boys in Cricket = 9z + 11x
- Girls in Baseball + Girls in Cricket = 7z + 13x
- Total boys in Baseball and Cricket = 9z + 11x + 15y + 13y = 9z + 11x + 15(11x + 35) + 13(13x)

Percentage Calculation:
- Percentage = (Boys in Baseball + Boys in Cricket) / (Girls in Baseball + Girls in Cricket) * 100
- Substituting the values, we get the percentage as 100%

Therefore, the number of boys who participated in baseball and cricket together is 100% of the number of girls who participated in the same sports.
