Quantity I: The age of boss, if the average age of 38 employees is 15. When boss’s age is included the average increases by 1.
So, the average of 39 people (including Boss's age) will be 16.
The age of boss = Sum of the age of 39 people ? Sum of the age of 38 people
(39 × 16) ? (38 × 15) = 54
Quantity II: The age of boss, if the average age of 21 employees is 36. When boss’s age is included the average increases by 0.5.
So, the average of 22 people (including Boss's age) will be 36.5
The age of boss = Sum of the age of 22 people ? Sum of the age of 21 people
(22 × 36.5) ? (21 × 36) = 47
Hence, Quantity I > Quantity II.
