Can bulb glow when the circuit completes with different substances?

Yes, a bulb can glow when the circuit completes with different substances, but it depends on the electrical conductivity of the substance being used. Let's analyze the conductivity of various substances:

1. Tap water:
Tap water contains impurities such as minerals and dissolved salts, which can make it conductive to some extent. However, the conductivity of tap water may vary depending on its source and quality. In general, tap water is a poor conductor of electricity, so it may not be sufficient to make the bulb glow brightly.

2. NaCl solution (Saltwater):
When salt is dissolved in water, it dissociates into positive and negative ions. These ions enhance the conductivity of the solution, making it a better conductor than tap water. Therefore, if a circuit is completed with a NaCl solution, the bulb is likely to glow, but the brightness may still be relatively low.

3. Kerosene:
Kerosene is a nonpolar liquid and does not contain any charged particles that can conduct electricity. Hence, it is an insulator and will not allow the bulb to glow when the circuit is completed using kerosene.

4. Distilled water:
Distilled water is almost pure water, free from impurities and dissolved salts. As a result, it has a very low conductivity. Therefore, completing the circuit with distilled water is unlikely to make the bulb glow.

5. Lemon juice:
Lemon juice contains citric acid and water. Citric acid is a weak acid that dissociates into ions in water, providing some conductivity. Therefore, lemon juice can conduct electricity to some extent, but the conductivity is still relatively low. The bulb may glow, but the brightness will be limited.

6. Vinegar:
Vinegar is a dilute acetic acid solution and, similar to lemon juice, can conduct electricity to some extent. The presence of ions in vinegar allows it to conduct electricity, but the conductivity is relatively low. Hence, the bulb may glow, but not very brightly.

7. Mustard oil, cooking oil, and coconut oil:
Oils, being nonpolar substances, do not contain charged particles and are poor conductors of electricity. Therefore, completing the circuit with any of these oils will not make the bulb glow.

8. Cold drinks:
Cold drinks are primarily composed of water, sugar, and carbon dioxide. The water in cold drinks has low conductivity, while sugar and carbon dioxide do not contribute to electrical conductivity. Therefore, completing the circuit with cold drinks is unlikely to make the bulb glow.

In conclusion, substances such as NaCl solution, lemon juice, and vinegar have some level of electrical conductivity due to the presence of ions. However, tap water, kerosene, distilled water, oils, and cold drinks have low or no conductivity, making them poor conductors of electricity.

Can bulb glows when the circuit completes with tap water ,NaCl solutio...
Is there a bulb will glow but if it is fused or battery is used up all the connections are weak it will not glow but if everything is alright and only these solutions are used that it will bulb will glow easily because all these solution will accumulate ions in them and the ions will make easy for electric current to pass and help in glowing of bulb.
