On 13 april,1919 large crowd gathered in enclosed ground of Jalianwala bagh to attend Baisakhi fair.Then General Dyer entered the area , blocked the exit points and opened fire on the crowd.Thousands of people get killed in that massacre.So government in 1951 built Jallianwala Bagh Memorial to commemorate the massacre.

There was a meeting in 13 april 1919,which all children, mothers and fathers came for meeting to discuss about the freedom struggle. Somehow ब्रिटिश knew this. And closed the door (it had only one entrance)and started firing to the poor people who did no do any harm to them
