Sham played before Sohan and after Mohan. Mohan played on the mid – day of the week. Ram played 3 days before Sham played. Virat played well but couldn’t complete its century and scored 99 runs. Runs: 50, 100, 150, 10, 0, 99 and 49
1) Rohit was the first one to play. As First day of the week is Monday. Hence Rohit played on Monday.
2) Rohit scored the highest run among the all. The highest run scored here according to the question is 150. Hence, Rohit scored 150 runs.
3) Archit and Sohan being private employs the played on weekend. Weekend days are Saturday and Sunday.
4) Sohan played a day before Archit played. As Sohan played before Archit it means Sohan played on Saturday and Archit played on Sunday.
5) Sham played before Sohan and after Mohan.
6) Mohan played on the mid – day of the week. Mid – day of the week is Thursday. Hence, Mohan played on Thursday. As Sham played after Mohan and before Sohan it means Sham played on Friday.
7) Ram played 3 days before Sham played. 3 days before Sham played is Tuesday hence, Ram played on Tuesday.
8) Virat played well but couldn’t complete its century and scored 99 runs. As all days are now occupied only one is left that is Wednesday. Hence, Virat played on Wednesday.
9) Ram score 1/3 of the runs scored by Rohit. 1/3 of the score made by Rohit is 50. Hence, Ram scored a half century.
10) Sum of runs scored by Mohan and Archit is 59. X + Y = 59.
11) Archit scored more runs than Mohan. There are only four runs left that is 0, 49, 100 and 10 and the combination that give a sum of 59 is only 10 and 49. As Archit scored more hence Archit scored 49 and Mohan Scored 10.
12) Sham scored a duck. Now only two runs are left 0 and 100 as Sham scored a duck, hence Sohan scored a 100.
This is the complete table possible.
Hence, Sohan scored a century on Saturday.
