Andaman and Nicobar Islands
The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are a group of islands at the southeastern edge of the Bay of Bengal. This archipelago consists of 572 islands, out of which only 37 are inhabited. It is home to various indigenous tribes, including the Jarawa, Onge, and Sentinelese. The islands have a tropical climate with lush green forests and numerous wildlife species. Lakshadweep Islands
Lakshadweep is a group of 36 islands in the Arabian Sea, off the western coast of India. Only 10 of these islands are inhabited. The islands are known for their coral reefs, sandy beaches, and crystal-clear waters. Some of the popular tourist attractions include Agatti Island, Bangaram Island, and Kavaratti Island. The islands are also home to various marine species, including turtles, dolphins, and sharks.

Both the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep Islands are important from a strategic and geopolitical perspective. The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are located close to the Strait of Malacca, which is one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world. The Lakshadweep Islands are located close to some of India's major ports, including Mumbai and Kochi.
