If Mass is Constant



  • Directly Proportional: When mass is constant, momentum and velocity are directly proportional to each other.

  • Linear Graph: The graph between momentum and velocity will be a linear graph with a positive slope.

  • Mathematical Expression: The mathematical expression of the graph will be P = mv, where P is momentum, m is mass and v is velocity.

  • Independent: When velocity is constant, momentum and mass are independent of each other.

  • Flat Line: The graph between momentum and mass will be a flat line with zero slope.

  • Mathematical Expression: The mathematical expression of the graph will be P = mv, where P is momentum, m is mass and v is velocity. But since v is constant, the expression becomes P = m * constant, which is a flat line.
