COVID-19 Precautions during the JEE Exam

During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it is crucial to ensure the safety and well-being of all candidates appearing for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). The National Testing Agency (NTA), responsible for conducting the exam, has implemented specific guidelines and precautions to minimize the risk of virus transmission. 1. Social Distancing Measures:
- The seating arrangement inside the examination hall has been modified to ensure a minimum distance of 6 feet between each candidate.

- In case a candidate has tested positive or is under home quarantine, they must not appear for the exam and report the same to the authorities.

6. Advisory for Candidates:
- Candidates are advised to follow respiratory etiquette, such as covering their mouth and nose with a tissue or elbow while coughing or sneezing.
- They should avoid touching their face, eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
- Sharing of personal items like calculators, pens, or stationery is strictly prohibited.
