- The degree must be recognized by the Government of India.
- The candidate must have proficiency in the local language of the state/UT they are applying for.

Computer Literacy:
- The candidate should have basic computer knowledge and operational skills.
- Proficiency in using the computer is desirable.

Other Requirements:
- Candidates must be physically fit and mentally capable of performing the duties of a Probationary Officer.
- Candidates with a record of default in repayment of loans/credit card dues and/or against whose name adverse reports of CIBIL or other agencies are available, will not be eligible for selection.
