Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced Exam

To appear in the JEE Advanced exam, candidates must fulfill certain eligibility criteria. These criteria include age restrictions, educational qualifications, and the number of attempts allowed. Below are the detailed eligibility criteria for the JEE Advanced exam:

- Those who appeared in their Class 12 board examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2020 and wish to reappear in the same in 2021, must reappear for all the subjects.
- Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in their Class 12 board examination or any equivalent qualifying examination.
- Candidates should have secured a minimum aggregate score of 75% (for General/OBC-NCL category) or 65% (for SC/ST/PwD category) in their Class 12 board examination or any equivalent qualifying examination.
- The aggregate marks will be calculated by considering the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. If the board provides only a letter grade without providing any equivalent marks, then the candidate's aggregate marks will be calculated based on the board's conversion formula.
