3. Educational Qualification:
- The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the central government.
- Proficiency in the local language of the state/UT for which the candidate is applying is essential.
- Computer literacy is also required, as candidates should have a certificate/diploma/degree in computer operations or should have studied computer/information technology as one of the subjects in their high school/college.

4. Computer Literacy:
- The candidate should have knowledge of operating and working with computer systems.
- Proficiency in the use of computers and basic software packages like MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is necessary.

5. Language Proficiency:
- The candidate should be proficient in the official language of the state/UT for which they are applying.
- They should be able to read, write, and speak the language fluently.

6. Number of Attempts:
- The number of attempts for the IBPS Clerk Exam is subject to the age limit criteria.
- General category candidates can attempt the exam a maximum of 4 times.
- There is relaxation in the number of attempts for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
