Minimum Qualifying Marks for Each Stage of the SBI PO Selection Process
State Bank of India (SBI) conducts the Probationary Officer (PO) selection process in three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Group Exercise & Interview. Each stage has minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to secure in order to move to the next stage of the selection process.
Preliminary Examination
The Preliminary Examination is the first stage of the SBI PO selection process. It consists of three sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. The minimum qualifying marks for each section are as follows:
- English Language: Candidates need to secure minimum qualifying marks, which are decided by the bank.
- Quantitative Aptitude: Candidates need to secure minimum qualifying marks, which are decided by the bank.
- Reasoning Ability: Candidates need to secure minimum qualifying marks, which are decided by the bank.
Candidates who score above the minimum qualifying marks in each section will be shortlisted for the Main Examination.
Main Examination
The Main Examination is the second stage of the SBI PO selection process. It consists of four sections: Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, and English Language. The minimum qualifying marks for each section are as follows:
- Reasoning & Computer Aptitude: Candidates need to secure minimum qualifying marks, which are decided by the bank.
- Data Analysis & Interpretation: Candidates need to secure minimum qualifying marks, which are decided by the bank.
- General/Economy/Banking Awareness: Candidates need to secure minimum qualifying marks, which are decided by the bank.
- English Language: Candidates need to secure minimum qualifying marks, which are decided by the bank.
Candidates who score above the minimum qualifying marks in each section and also secure a minimum overall cut-off score will be shortlisted for the Group Exercise & Interview.
Group Exercise & Interview
The Group Exercise & Interview is the final stage of the SBI PO selection process. In this stage, candidates are evaluated based on their performance in the Group Exercise and Interview. The minimum qualifying marks for this stage are decided by the bank.
Candidates who score above the minimum qualifying marks in the Group Exercise & Interview stage will be considered for the final selection.
