Selection Process for IBPS PO Exam:
The selection process for the IBPS PO (Probationary Officer) exam consists of three stages:

Shortlisting Candidates for the Interview Round:
The candidates are shortlisted for the interview round based on their performance in the main examination. The following factors are taken into consideration while shortlisting candidates:
1. Cut-off Score:
- Each candidate has to score the minimum cut-off marks in each section of the main examination as well as the overall cut-off score to be considered for the interview round.
- The cut-off marks are decided by IBPS based on various factors such as the number of vacancies and the difficulty level of the exam.
2. Total Marks:
- The total marks obtained by the candidates in the main examination are considered for shortlisting.
- The candidates with higher marks have a better chance of getting shortlisted.
3. Category-wise Reservation:
- IBPS follows the reservation policy as per the government norms.
- Candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, etc., have a certain percentage of reservations.
